At midday, people gather in the plaza in Building H — the food court at Ritsumeikan University Osaka Ibaraki Campus. Students and neighbours alike are welcome.

Asian food, iron-pot rice, pasta, spice curry, omurice, crepes. Six booths stand side by side, and you choose by how you feel that day.

Order at the register or in the app, collect when your number appears on the monitor, then take a free seat. There is nothing complicated about it.

It is about a 5-minute walk from JR Ibaraki Station. Come a little outside the lunch peak and you will have a more relaxed meal.

Can members of the public eat at the OIC cafeteria?

Yes. Alongside students and staff, local residents and campus visitors are welcome, with no special procedure. It is about a 5-minute walk from JR Ibaraki Station, and you can also come from Hankyu Minami-Ibaraki or Hankyu Ibarakishi Station. We are open Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 17:00, and closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
